What happens if we fail the questionnaire?
Most businesses fail on at least one of MFA coverage, EDR on servers, or backup immutability. That is the normal starting point, not a disaster. The gap report tells you exactly what is missing and what it costs to fix, and the remediation is standard work we do every week.
How fast can this be done before our renewal date?
Two to three weeks end to end for a business under 100 users. If your renewal is closer than that, tell us the date on the first call and we will tell you honestly whether it is achievable rather than take the work and miss it.
Do we have to become a managed client afterwards?
No. This is a standalone fixed-fee engagement and it ends with a deliverable you own. Most clients do go on to a managed agreement because they end up holding subscriptions that need administering, but there is no obligation and no auto-renewal.
